As nationally competitive performers, fundraising is extremely important for us. As with most areas of state funding to school districts, the funding for our programs have been decreased over the past several years. Our expenses to compete at a higher level have continued to increase. Our programs have gotten larger and we have had to split them into multiple programs which brings additional expenses such as entrance fees for competitions, travel expenses, etc. Please support our fundraising efforts. Here is how you can help:
Tax credit program through the Higley Unified School District. It is a dollar for dollar credit on your Arizona state taxed. You may claim up to $200 if filing single or $400 if filing married. For more information please visit: http://www.husd.org/domain/793 . You must specify for your funds to go to Williams Field Marching Band for your funds to be used for our program. Donate items for our concessions during our home shows. Items needed are cases of water, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Diet Dr. Pepper, and 20 oz Powerade. Please contact Kim Booher if you would like to donate any of these items or any other items for our concessions at email@example.com.
